Hey everyone, so the launch night for Divine Locale, my current exhibition went brilliantly, there was a fantastic turnout and such a high standard of work, I was blown away. The exhibition's been getting a lot of media attention too, from local news interviewing artists to the police being called out on the open night for a live piece of performance art that got the locals feeling a bit puzzled! There was such a wide variety of work, from sculpture, photography, video, printmaking to video and even a virtual reality piece! All responding to the theme of 'locality.'
You can follow the exhibition on Instagram at @divine_locale and I am posting regular updates/photos on my own social media @emilybfineart You can catch the exhibition at 2, The Spot, Derby until 1st September.

Hey everyone, I'm back with another exhibition! State of Mind was a great success and I had a great time meeting the curator of the exhibition and having a trip up to Northallerton to look at the space. I'm pleased to announce my participation in this year's 'Divine Locale', a graduate-curated exhibition by former Derby Uni students (the same Uni I went to myself!) I'm so excited to be exhibiting alongside some fellow students as well as students from across the country. The opening is 18th August at 2, The Spot, Derby from 5-9pm and then the show runs until 1st September. Exciting times!
